/ M" F; g) S' [& j7 c Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
/ s8 v9 c4 h* O Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

2 }5 j; s  H( L7 Y: p1 L+ KLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

  v/ B8 f1 X  Z6 i2 w% W& BWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

# f& \5 Y, W0 W# O" q  y6 S2 N; [Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
) {* J! I1 _2 E: v7 mManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

5 v" s7 O7 Q! y7 o$ l$ E' Z+ n, S/ M' jProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

" T7 w' Z* k4 c  O6 uSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;

+ b- |% e  a4 w# wExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

2 Q6 [) k' [' ]1 X3 r6 O# S$ WExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
