Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

' m4 Z: ^4 M+ C# O5 R Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

* r* D# }6 ~# T3 a$ G9 G9 c% {Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

, E5 G9 @0 O2 B2 KWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

* }- e2 V7 b7 h! `: U; x/ x5 [' eWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
. L9 z9 I( \5 L( qManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

# |; R; E* f- D; b+ j/ LProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

7 h7 t( X4 X4 R1 \10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

7 u. ]4 \+ S" x1 _# Z" u1 lGas industry experience preferred;

" r5 M4 [4 s( q3 ^! i6 e- ~- X0 ?Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
