SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
7 H) F2 o% G2 N1 L, q' Loperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
! j2 S& I2 L- @% X  Zcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
/ D  n7 j, o3 y. u$ P- k+ O5 Vthe Store Manager.
% B' _7 ?  U1 v2 D, K# J: sDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
& H( S! h) i- h/ z" y• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
& N* N, z! e8 A" ~. u3 W% l: d5 Z• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
% |" \7 J+ o$ SStore Responsibilities
3 ^* D" _, Y. s( U) S• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
0 Q8 y/ k+ B7 F2 e4 ^• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
+ R1 L. o8 C0 J2 J2 i. x• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
. x1 H* u% H; }* B• High School graduate
6 [# g6 U7 z4 G• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
; P! m( k+ ~0 f+ z! ?6 O- ?• Good problem solving skills
  f+ \1 O7 x7 \• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
7 H& t9 G$ O& }3 N9 D& |# H4 @  k• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
