Job Purpose
4 A: ?) N* w7 o2 _; P2 U5 YEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
. a( O4 g8 u6 ^/ n1 aoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
+ r7 O, w2 U0 w2 j( i. t1 |customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
/ t1 e$ a  `* T7 ~/ j9 S4 o' R! d4 \• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
/ W2 X  n5 Q4 T2 ~6 @• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
# Z# k4 d6 d7 _8 {* Xstock
! y5 S' F/ u* g# H# l• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
& n$ q* M4 R; ^  ZStore Responsibilities
3 B, m1 r( m/ c• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
/ T. n) r+ ]# ~• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
* x, R6 C2 g: v7 v' w• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
* H8 l0 B+ w+ K0 U9 y( l1 k0 t8 |8 P• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
, v- q8 ]: K0 \6 ]5 n& V! i8 p• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
9 N$ N: f/ P, \1 b# D• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
- }, O# B9 }/ ]  m# z• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
7 X% g; f5 T, Q# [• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
