Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
1 R+ S$ _' J; ~0 n7 FPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
+ r, ], s3 c) w& V6 s7 l* nUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
G3 z* z( ^* N& j! h* {4 b' TExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants % [8 D! U+ v- j; c/ V: X) Q
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
g& ]. a8 X; J& W1 B' BExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
( g8 ]2 W6 y7 mCurrent knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
