Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
1 G( _. L0 ?! I' K) O  Y- N; @ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
( b; I, j2 D9 {9 J, O4 `! G% qThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
6 m" ?9 J, ~: v5 q4 YŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
9 Z: |* @. r  Uthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
) j* X$ S% B  ~4 ~2 L9 \, yŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
! C8 _4 s, c6 y7 h/ _' s8 @* F% t% zsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
; N) R4 h6 ^6 t) t& B( s+ xŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
4 I3 A( g! T7 t/ E6 l, B" YŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
* g2 `- O& t2 ~9 y8 X0 uQualifications:
/ a& Q* n9 V6 |8 T1 Y) gŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
* q- f! L2 Q4 x& \Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
5 x7 u' D/ f% S6 H) LŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
' C  c: |$ }7 X6 n7 i$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
/ x6 g% u( A$ e, ?( fdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
