Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
  b+ z; l3 Q) x2 Bment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
! N, e1 l! c' `" R8 M2 F5 I! aŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
3 Z! G4 x( V$ ~3 Rthe organization;
3 v3 g: x* s8 |1 P( eŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
" Y$ J0 N% |9 F$ Rsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
: m. r0 o, m- j, Q  @* ]implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
2 j- K' h, \  U8 d1 d6 j1 ?Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
* K* U- E1 r: ^" A" ]Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
/ b( Q1 d) Q8 R1 [2 X8 r2 C9 oŸ Other duties as required.
& e5 ~% N8 N/ L, L' e3 jQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
( B% b. w( c2 W2 x% m) E" {8 bŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
/ K& i4 h2 R: v9 L* R* o3 R$ XŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
" I( b5 b7 y/ M+ i6 T) Overbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
1 A# h- w2 a2 Q# K. @6 l$ l$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
