Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* P# o0 K0 }' G  g1 \ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
$ ]& q+ s, t! j; D  cthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
8 I( e9 R& Q0 F- |" aŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
- j0 a0 z3 ]4 [4 u; P/ |! Pimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
: i* t4 @, W' Y; b* o& lŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
/ T5 H' x2 R1 v9 f( T: ~4 U5 uŸ Other duties as required.
# h8 y* U. v2 q4 u" \" t5 aQualifications:
, B/ K7 f8 X. ?" Q( pŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
* j# r2 I  H9 ^4 R, ueducation and experience;
% n5 W: y( M' l8 fŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
/ Q- i1 h3 t/ d( \2 K7 o, J3 b$ A) ZŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
' p* [. e6 f& a# K2 C& Y4 ~verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
/ a" Y# o6 q' Y& Y' y$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
) Z# y, `- O2 \- N7 Vdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
