5 b4 `; E  c; s4 l2 _) K Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
; K/ \; L: T6 m* N: a, c6 l Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
) ~8 v2 d5 e: {$ }7 F! s Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
# J3 u2 c8 y* C  g* L Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
2 T( X3 ~4 g$ Y5 ]" s Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
# {0 |+ Q" C& W- E# P1 k' T Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
& y* _' ]  p( }- v# {4 d1 l Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
- C% \  J- o! z/ h* x
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.

 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
