Major Responsibilities:
) y* W* d2 Q- H  @( {9 i" w0 l; h/ M+ J•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
9 m: c* ]* I! g) W/ T•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
& C. v6 Q2 I9 E•        Others.

3 j; c4 x) C! [8 t2 bQualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
% e2 h1 U8 n* i# }% R& f( @  w" @* i•        Equipment design experience is required;
3 P/ `/ B1 P/ T. [& }8 x- S•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
, p: D- Z* ~! Z6 _0 F•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
