Major Responsibilities:

• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;* s2 T1 w4 K0 n" Q
• Equipment fabrication guidance;4 P/ a5 f$ @% V5 Q3 Z8 J
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;! [# E) j' }3 e
• Others.) U: P K6 y/ _
! w G$ {. h2 kQualifications:4 y) E7 p% x$ ^
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. & r7 I/ r2 f4 w* C7 N- V
• Equipment design experience is required;
|& n, M" M& J9 P+ N( q• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
8 e& h- W. ~1 y1 p3 e5 i3 p• Familiar with CAD software;
8 |8 _# t2 s3 ?• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;3 S/ {4 E0 s: L
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
