4 i+ c: }2 b/ X6 b4 Q! eAn engineering start-up, which is committed to support the R&D and industrialization of process technologies in North America with expertise and international resources, now accepts applicant for the position of Mechanical Engineer /Specialist through Industry r&D Associates program, Alberta Ingenuity.

Major Responsibilities:
•        Process research equipment design;
, d/ \6 c  s/ b- H+ X( X•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
% @2 L4 k  E( T2 G- ]/ {* F" W•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
7 B  ?4 g. n* k* Y+ k•        Others.

2 M1 {- V4 H) _/ U, g. N& }Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
) F* P$ W0 a4 y9 V# F6 `•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
6 }- j; Z! y- v  k•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
  E/ F5 r& I3 N' ^; a0 g•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
