Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

+ ^. ?6 `& g" j4 D: x$ m* _Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
6 T$ R$ [3 s, ^Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications
; d  P* Y. n( |" {' @4 A
( p$ |7 ?- e0 `' d" a( ?Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
5 U: [" l/ R/ C+ E: q" `* VMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
" I3 ~4 @% a' Z3 P' jExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
9 ?, u( W6 X' @: CUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
