The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:
: R2 m9 m( B7 r3 P5 ]( R( C• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
4 S3 l: ?; Q7 G/ B Z• Answer multi line telephone system6 z1 w+ X2 Z4 I! O: s

Administration:
' c$ n% [( Y/ F2 m! s• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
4 s- ?4 p! L) R5 s+ d• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
6 \5 D- U; T# k% `) E/ Q+ W1 @• Input and manage high volume of data' a: W8 Z! {- E( S
• Update and maintain databases8 U; Z! C1 Q7 P" C) F, U3 N2 m
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
% A# u0 Z' R4 p6 l• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation3 B8 \( B% |, [
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits5 r0 h8 V; d) O2 j9 _/ x
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
' @, i5 P- {# @! c• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
' |; c4 B2 a( ^) V+ G• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre! u. G( a) |. _
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients5 Z# @& ]* R) n

, \6 @2 [5 v2 o$ m8 w• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
: s& Z1 F/ K. d- o8 X' O3 I• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
% \# J* i& X4 H/ L; Y- v! V9 V• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
; U: F% G h3 k& W7 D• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work- I# W- j9 k7 Z& [, Z2 a
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population, Q5 K$ [; l3 Y8 R$ L p
• Strong customer service skills
