The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ( L0 R8 q3 b4 \( C8 t
( Z$ E. X* e& d9 XThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

% g) b' ^/ o4 L1 n( ]$ I• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
% t& {; Y! h0 o4 n• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads" ] s* T7 O! r- [; z
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits

• Update and maintain databases
' f/ ]) J9 m* l5 s• Generate monthly reports and statistics( y6 A3 }3 h& ^ F( o. A b
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
& T6 Y+ |% J' g7 ~• Process payments and complete weekly deposits b; t, {( c% k
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms+ i4 k( F$ j9 q# v
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors3 Q* }' U' b% y! a P+ R# |9 `9 q
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
& S9 R# \3 K* e8 i7 R0 d! L4 [) y• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

1 M: Y0 q& c) I* ?7 D9 }1 m8 ?0 B• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
# b- W y! v+ f' D9 i. @• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 0 `/ C b/ ~* A4 T7 Z% ?
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills7 X6 j0 i0 Q1 e8 I1 n
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
. g! e- \* u/ V: P, d5 a6 t7 c• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
