The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

T. M6 a; H* u3 Z$ E+ x• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

Administration:5 [& }/ ?( R: Y5 Y/ d
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
% B& E! S S! m• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
5 w7 ?; D Q! U# g6 B* Z' L• Input and manage high volume of data- {" O# w" I8 Z Q3 O
• Update and maintain databases. G; x8 \+ x# u0 `8 ~+ T$ N9 X+ N
• Generate monthly reports and statistics }& T: k- g- T# ?3 B
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
1 E+ G w* K. n0 \• Process payments and complete weekly deposits6 M4 i/ r0 s0 j
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
5 \6 _ G% d: ~9 N0 z# j( K• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors) q. E# `+ I) e5 I) Z( y
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

! ?6 J9 Z, a9 A& w• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure! X. M1 P! @; j; y+ z' G. K
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ' s) k/ v) z {1 w. n+ ^
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
/ E3 J9 ^" z7 G& G# r• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
4 h0 H! Q/ L9 q• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
) o& ?* @( `" ^* p/ m+ `4 U% l• Strong customer service skills4 ~9 [' ^" i* w! o3 _ w
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
