The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. # K; b8 s) a- B/ T

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
5 u2 Y7 g, k1 S* M3 Z% X: [) `( v• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required7 @4 ?; @% `# T
• Answer multi line telephone system0 A h \2 {/ u

Administration:, v8 ~" y4 S3 ~# G
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
; P( b4 t& f$ T3 l/ O: T• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
" o/ V; p' |' h Z! s( }• Input and manage high volume of data
. t/ ]& [6 u! H) i9 ?4 e7 a• Update and maintain databases. T( q& n& u8 v; X
• Generate monthly reports and statistics {! {/ Z% x, y( l& |
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
* v4 B7 g9 Z8 Y5 U3 z5 d• Process payments and complete weekly deposits% k9 h3 |/ t6 [. X5 s5 \0 l
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
p( Z6 l2 s$ Q1 o2 D- q• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors" R% v; @8 @8 j% x* Q
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
% h' J3 l7 p2 P• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
( F0 P: F' i% ?( Z) \- T: G: E- {) I' V8 r
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
# P9 }# S# I; I! B) I! r• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ' p0 b6 P7 E/ b- O0 }1 t) D1 z
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
1 G& r7 c$ L0 k$ U; q: Q• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work6 X+ s' m& m, N! x
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population" P) G+ H8 W) O
• Strong customer service skills
