" i+ D% r( O1 r+ w/ [. q' M Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
, @9 \" L" ?/ ?' _/ {0 C& Z) y Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
+ \% U1 ^) \& t: ^% W* x Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
& R, V2 e' M! H7 f9 K* c4 i Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
$ u! G: T7 B) H* f" z Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

5 K" l* h& h- m0 l: s5 C* L" F0 w Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
! r; D1 l8 h  n6 k$ N" [  ^+ V# _ Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
9 t  J2 H* n4 t Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
: W0 H; S8 a7 P! s/ gThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
% g& E1 r( Y) bThere is a 3-month probationary period.
