Administration officials have long argued that there is no evidence school speed zones reduce the danger for children.% y# D% r9 j( E

"This is simply adding it to our set of solutions," Rick Millican, general manager of transportation, said. "Council is not saying if they approve it, put a school zone everywhere someone wants on.
