Responsibilities% T' [4 K% @* c( k$ l; B; n
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
5 L2 ], O& p0 s' X6 A8 f■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
% t' M+ S8 i1 I# o3 ]( g■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships, n; ~3 G5 P2 M7 A% E% f
Experience and Education:+ b( k8 o( w) p
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
/ [6 i) R3 \% x& l4 Y■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.- l- P. G5 G- S
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.4 x! S6 S9 N- s# g1 o5 V% b+ Y
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
1 M$ ?6 o0 \5 z1 C/ U2 a" A■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
# l8 `- P9 [$ a0 d, p1 h! a8 A, j■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.! j& _% T& |$ t& p/ ^, M% F( b
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
; T @8 f; l, ?" S0 V■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
