Responsibilities
- e! x% T; D5 Z, B* E3 m( X" q■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
. o( y$ m" t7 c; F■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.) U; p* g0 d$ ^! S9 Z6 D! V
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
2 F5 K, `0 q' c& nExperience and Education:' Y. r4 {- L+ L a6 }
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.% d3 G2 n+ }4 @3 G
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
: W9 F6 {6 a) k& {■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
; l9 j( r5 g" l0 g) C■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
6 o, I5 f/ W! i2 r9 L■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;* t: A) Z. `% V' I
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.: { _& j3 ~& C2 ^
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
