Responsibilities
" E" f/ E% V- a$ z■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.0 ]" O2 [" e, }% s/ j
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.7 t- W& s- p& a3 f2 ~/ Y; a; P5 T
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships4 ^' W% {! q: M% ~7 `5 t* m
Experience and Education:
% K! [- T7 I+ n4 `- N, D/ K4 X& G- m* D3 a■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable., n+ b0 h) E( N& I8 D
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.& J6 u' N. y+ D. V J0 U$ M
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
( t. Y$ R8 i! C9 r$ s■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;/ ]. \$ @: u8 U7 s( C+ E
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;8 _1 x! q; g; |$ V9 Y
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.8 t( n- K& c0 h2 s
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.- ]& ?* C* L7 v5 x
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
