Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
0 t3 o9 T+ y2 Z0 @; zProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
: J/ j }6 l! @6 I5 }# _Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

3 S/ g' c5 C* V* q9 uDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred, o% a9 `9 f) \$ @/ }- Z) }
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred, E0 Z7 D* ~. ~% F$ Z+ O
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
$ n3 J- R# C% d6 W- S$ ]2 ?" B& @Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
; u* ~5 Y/ ~/ H+ R- KFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
