Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
+ @. ]7 D- E; j' r1 ZProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
9 H+ `" L0 G, ^2 jPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

+ ]: b- p  ~+ Q7 E  u; u6 V% CDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
4 z- ?6 L! @, m0 dDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
! Z4 o( R: M9 D3 dRelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
Ability to adapt in a high technology research environment
( O) K8 J! y0 d; J$ N9 QExcellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
