Duties
; J9 { D+ l" q0 C: X$ WDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
4 c1 N! f9 C8 R7 V9 y& i& ^6 W* PObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
# ~) A# b+ N* k+ u ^; C% M/ ^$ lEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound7 k ?) [2 ^( J9 d2 m y
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
( U" k: ~( Y0 X4 vOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions0 z: @. z! ~4 g( M7 W
Performs related duties as required

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification

Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
