A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

Edmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.8 S/ n2 b d8 d5 ]

“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published./ H) ]8 r2 l5 S: T: e
