A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours., q: N3 V9 d4 z3 N, z
- ]7 Z. _0 d7 ?( }5 [, gEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.

+ X P2 [- H5 c# w1 _2 L& b3 l“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.

“We get the odd B-and-E and car theft around here, but other than that, not too much (crime),” she said.
