The woman was found slain inside the 1,200-square-foot home shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, said Edmonton police spokeswoman Lisa Sobchyshyn.

Forensics officers continued to probe the scene at 10816 52 St. on Tuesday night.

Lynn Gregory, vice-president of the Capilano Community League, was surprised to hear about the ongoing homicide investigation. _ B! R1 R X6 i* N1 a' b
