A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

) I3 r$ | ], y9 L4 W/ xEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.

“We get the odd B-and-E and car theft around here, but other than that, not too much (crime),” she said.
