* j. O$ h: i9 E4 `& n. g“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.

Forensics officers continued to probe the scene at 10816 52 St. on Tuesday night.

Lynn Gregory, vice-president of the Capilano Community League, was surprised to hear about the ongoing homicide investigation.# w7 m6 K' E9 X/ U6 ?. ^2 T h

“We get the odd B-and-E and car theft around here, but other than that, not too much (crime),” she said.

The slain woman, whose name has not been released, is the city’s 24th homicide victim of 2010.
