A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

/ U: ]' u4 r oEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.& s5 R3 s9 o9 f, ]7 z
* `& u& ^$ ^& \8 ^4 D$ w“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.
