A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.' o) z# p+ Y9 H- b; g% T- T) @
! J- f: s4 ]& h( a, m5 yEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.

& A6 i2 W1 S; ? I+ n. u8 P“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published. S9 g' ~% S/ W+ i+ e8 K' ~
