A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

/ P. l+ I4 f9 L5 E4 Y* UEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.! v% c, E9 z' X w
O E# z% S O4 l! \“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.

“We’ve never had anything like this happen around here,” said Marg, a senior citizen.
