A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.

Edmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.; ^! U5 |- V& ]& r

“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published. _2 l/ j: F9 ?1 T/ W4 c' F3 N3 x

Forensics officers continued to probe the scene at 10816 52 St. on Tuesday night.
