Edmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.) a* N( {; X9 A7 x9 d. X

The slain woman, whose name has not been released, is the city’s 24th homicide victim of 2010.
