The Engineers and Technologists Integration Program (ETIP) involves a

Beginning in 1995, ETIP:

an engineer or engineering technologist in Alberta:

Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work4 H+ V" I, J/ S+ ]* W6 _2 ]: h
experience and competency-based training, such as applied academics or3 i o' B$ c# l& A' u: ^

The ETIP program involves four phases:

• engineering-related training delivered at NAIT:

What is the evidence of success?
/ C K t9 C" Y+ E. @6 B! k `6 iAs of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have
% Q9 h+ N8 u" D6 Q' Q" _8 }* Xfound engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.
1 l+ l, e4 B$ y. cIn 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
2 j: \" [7 w- ~! L2 y4 E1 ~& Rgraduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,
+ V6 U; G, s4 x& C; `! A1 _with over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.
