Earth Hour is a global lights-out phenomenon led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to show support for action on climate change. u% e: j. N- m/ c1 A# T: P

Earth Hour began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia. More than 2.2 million people across the world turned off their lights.. u0 X5 b* S# Y- H0 z/ \& u; z
! F7 H% Z4 L( I% F2011 will be the fourth year that Edmonton participates in Earth Hour. Earth Hour gives us all a chance to reflect on our energy consumption. It is important to continue to make changes to your everyday lifestyle and show you care about the planet.
