1903, Alberta College predates both the City of Edmonton and the
5 b* U* y2 ]- {# s! bProvince of Alberta. It was founded by concerned citizens as the
+ y2 x6 H. R4 H$ m ^5 Yfirst post-secondary school in the area, on land bequeathed by

and its main purpose was to prepare young students for
