Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
+ {0 ]/ o8 Y8 q! lplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal3 _0 @5 k5 u; C! A
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
& B8 h4 R' D9 \' r K P3 r& @/ E/ i7 k- H- c
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification9 A3 p( J8 A) O5 O- |6 M
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
/ P( ]+ c$ j* a- M2 aMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
4 l* y( H- x d, b9 L% b- D, t& \( |School)8 g5 z3 D2 `* i/ @) n2 f
Must have supervisory experience4 u1 m- s+ _% g. J
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
* z7 ^9 `& V1 F* u3 Z" |$ u( MMust be computer literate; X- R' w; W3 h
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
$ Y- N3 q# ~' ]: O) ?4 a7 | W7 JMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
6 s% I1 P: ^7 l: T3 X. qMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills) v% Q2 M" Z, ^! p6 d
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already5 S* L+ ^4 l& A6 M. p
