 Provide information regarding job search strategies and labour market information.

 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers

0 Z7 ]. L! d* B* a Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.& y7 G1 L  Z1 j9 Z. i% Y
 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.

 Keep up-to-date all other administrative tasks as directed by the Program Co-ordinator.

 Attend multi-agency and multidisciplinary meetings, as required

 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.$ _0 n0 {3 s8 p0 `8 g
 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.
# l. j; e' U" _3 b2 e; R% Q7 |) y Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.
3 s3 U. {; k: J4 ^ Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.+ x# n+ @. y4 s
 Create and update clients files on Mobius computer system

 Ensure that participants have access to the required supports to successfully complete their Service Plan- V! C  }, i6 W2 ~
 Assist clients in maintaining a job or in identifying barriers/issues that keep clients from obtaining/maintaining employment
+ d: _6 L5 @* j* y4 r# o Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada& n# c8 s8 {% n' X, E: v
 Develop and maintain knowledge of current programs and services available for participants
# x/ ]2 k6 L# b: E) d- u Complete participant reviews with the participants
4 M, Q0 m% P- a; q' X Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion2 S4 D: g6 i' A, i) F
 Perform other duties as assigned by manager/coordinator
