the old under layer can be removed or you can leave it in depanding on its condition. if you want to remove it, it's a lot of physical labour work.# V$ y s( e2 S( |& r2 l* S0 _9 m
( n8 c$ H7 Z; F7 l; u; qinstalling the new carpet is very easy, but again it's a lot of physical labour. carpets are a lot heavier than most people think. plus, you'll need to do your own measurements, cutting, transportation of new/old material, etc.7 C) S6 r7 }2 T# n- t' G
