Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
4 w+ A0 ^( f0 u- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
. R3 d# i2 k' l: E! n% b! q* u- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.( X/ v x; Y" }0 x1 l0 Y+ M
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.5 I- ~! T3 j6 E$ q2 N
