Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
# j: ?, l& Q* T5 Z7 ^/ A- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
# H+ K; {) C* ^8 o% e) l7 ~) f- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.6 p! d$ t* e0 f; [. o# K/ m
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
