Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:- e9 z8 K( X- K3 k/ N3 u
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;# O1 R, R; j: y+ E& B* l# Z
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.# Q6 D) W' ?: i
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
