Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
; J1 ]6 ^6 M c# n8 Q. k- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
( @5 o' J, D) _1 w# T- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.9 H3 z( ]) @; |1 e1 v* z8 b
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
