The Position
The Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
skilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
1 t  M& m, ~! f: bDuties and responsibilities
General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
/ i) R7 Z$ E  u& y! w• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
- I; x# \+ j, U) D* D9 m- G/ o• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
. n0 w  ?4 Q  Z9 U! Pdevelopment, distributes and files same
) A  l7 S/ R9 s# \( R• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
8 o9 A! c' Q. X/ p• Archives files
& v! Z0 Y6 c$ ?• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
7 D6 a; @, ]6 L/ P6 U+ f# a' A6 n• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
! n+ ?; @- U7 S• Appointment and meeting scheduling
# A  S/ c7 v$ ]1 {& s• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
Administration
• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
, ~- C. s7 G! g$ Vrequired
Accounting
• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
Qualifications
' @/ m& Z" H& u  L; u7 z- [• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
4 \, w- A/ S# U/ M/ Z4 h• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
: S3 t0 j0 ]( t2 v5 W7 X6 u7 nsoftware (Income Manager)
• Ability to flex time as required

• Requires personal vehicle

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.

grow and work together.
Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
developing a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
organizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
