1. It's cool:cool
7 }4 E0 Q0 b, v8 V4 B1 W; D( s7 T2 x3 D; q1 f' N& X) U4 {
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
5 l3 q" `6 y# \( n: C
a8 S! X8 ~, [9 E {; K" y! d That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.( N) s$ C4 x1 `; p
6 d# Y. g- D ~1 v8 { Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
# ~$ B8 T* c$ {" L+ @% ^6 T; o- V& C) k8 G9 B8 W& Z5 }4 l
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
2 n- w& F% J( s: k( I She (He) was cool in the past.- n3 D6 ^2 f+ \8 |& c

8 _9 w" B8 O1 ~5 w9 A, R) p4 ^ 但是如果说:Are you cool?

She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not% L2 x* B, N2 g1 }

- D' c5 S {( n7 k* ^" e8 x; L7 _ 2. Are you trippin'?:trippin' 这个字,是由动词 trip 演变而来。 这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)

3. He is a nerd:nerd (A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.) (IQ = Intelligence Quotient ; EQ = Emotional Quotient) nerd 可用复数,动词也能用其他时态。因此可以说:+ c: j n! a$ Q" r) K) h
( }; e8 |# v4 @ He used to be a nerd in high school. (过去他在高中时是位书呆子)( ^- h7 g: P% S, v& b- ]: z! a

我们可以说:8 o( o7 T, V- `+ S. x0 P) m
' {2 `# T. @$ u
He is a computer geek.
9 g% I" j S' C6 H; v7 h, D I don't like him because he is a jerk.% o! I9 t% F' P8 f8 i5 D( c# p

n2 c$ N S6 @. _3 z$ ] 4.
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
$ Z, t4 ^4 w9 U8 k; H( X
3 J: e6 w* @, {. E# i Yo baby, are you trippin'?
& ?9 a/ Q) L$ e( ^* `1 Q ]4 j+ }% b
2 I. f% m# Q$ }: x( G May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.# r5 L" |- k! b. J8 _
2 g. V( Y3 L6 b& v: _: C5 D
]* A* v1 B) p/ X
* y3 G* j6 r/ ^# f
Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
9 M' F+ |& c A$ o. [; u3 p, E, |& K+ b* z$ G" L
5. Catch you later! (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
