Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
8 u& @- ~4 \7 a7 `, _# l6 d9 ]Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
' n7 g% a6 V2 \To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
$ ~4 \3 y+ \- h9 @* \+ U
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
, i/ e. [8 D( o, f- D- @ Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
2 ^5 b. [1 c8 L; `3 z0 ? Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
& t) Q4 h/ i8 ~) G4 J/ q Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
' T1 v: O. F* c. a" }7 R) k Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
" x* W) s! S& L) W$ E Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

Attitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
: ^' X" @3 I- t( F/ h8 ~0 J0 O Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
, Y2 _. C0 v) u9 m1 [/ [' C# O* ` A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
" r+ N% ^: E0 N% k8 ^' ?, w/ y" }; | Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
  Y- k0 Z- h- X7 z2 L6 ~2 k4 p Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
