* H  Q- f8 [$ v$ n+ W" Q/ GDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
' _0 v- o; j# o2 }! ACamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
9 W! \2 N' m7 `7 E4 @8 U*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

0 x$ l& K5 Y2 ZDuties:
' q' v8 \  S5 v/ rTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
1 ?* x" e: I$ }3 P; n3 X Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
5 g, j# m+ B, K( s Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
) x; [; Z8 |; b! X. v Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
& {7 {+ }) J3 ~+ e' Y Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
, r0 ^1 m. W. ?# t( e# s Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
" I% s; E2 U  J' |) D: b Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

. r  m0 E4 X+ I8 VAttitude/Skills Requirements

; X: _+ `/ Y- a; w Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
7 a$ j3 p& \7 _" a. }: ? Able to work independently with minimum supervision
5 Z# ], f* \1 X+ u" h' u. P6 z Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
$ g" b5 V# |( B/ C+ I Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
& F# g- G+ h2 v& a* P& A+ Y8 o) B! Q
