The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

0 b" ~/ G9 r, F" J* V, s• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
  k& @( L! b$ I& v9 P) ^5 D# a9 P• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
9 J9 _7 i1 Q: c• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
- J7 p! Q7 b" t: A$ D• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
! j0 u4 @! n3 W/ V• Medication Administration
( S7 Y  }! X& r: ~) ^. U6 l• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

$ T7 G# n* p3 X, }# ?: SEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
" @% C( k5 \1 ^& W# k: uTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
# X. l1 @% g. f: S5 }7 e, g0 b' V• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
0 V3 }4 m9 k- V* \• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
. J! Q# t: D8 D; E• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
, T5 e4 f4 Y, F9 p) t8 w$ w) u• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
