The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
. V* C5 y9 _$ Z2 D4 n• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
1 N& W/ _  Q. @4 _7 U• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
7 J- }0 b9 `0 X% z• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
. ~  O  ~& Z4 b* H• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
$ g8 G/ {  O4 s• Behavior management
$ ]- N5 J4 |1 M6 ?" Y& f  H) ?• Medication Administration
! T! Y' o/ q! ^; C6 R- `, p- f! c• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

$ A  s' \, t- m& q1 k6 I7 V( }Minimum Qualifications:
" A7 ]5 a# M( n- e" k) W2 H+ y! |Education
) a% E; E3 N& y• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
" B3 z. r# f* H% N7 u" z. O4 @& S% STraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
3 T, U# D2 x) i& a% W& c• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
$ X/ L: D* ?+ o$ S. O• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets

& d5 t7 n2 o2 \) j* S( O  tSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
