The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

8 ~3 H3 g3 f0 GResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
. \) \* B! u& z8 l• Behavior management
( n6 b" k6 m% A7 V3 @, j" f• Medication Administration
  x0 j4 [9 X" t) o8 h• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
1 s1 F7 H% |% a  ~& d• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
  c; ^6 K* j3 d) y4 |( T8 {• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
7 E* w, i1 y7 X0 Z* o* `& U0 A• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
* e0 e: n( H2 v. `7 G' a• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
7 G- k; G% I* S9 [/ L. r• *Medication Administration

• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
