The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

9 \+ C& g. x5 f7 w# W• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
. D+ J, ~1 D' V& `! Q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
* T; j8 X2 u. h. F• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
; w$ v; r0 L; A• Medication Administration
# ~. A9 }+ _* ]' ]4 K) ]# E• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
* B: G" N! g" H6 R0 e" b8 lEducation
& T& g4 t, W/ W$ O& k' @• Completion of a high school diploma
: d' s" g, j' o3 O: B8 m• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
* [: m6 }( x( s4 t0 fTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
# b; B& @3 b& D/ i' `/ y# x2 ]3 K• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

' H' P, ~5 |. ]3 u0 B/ R8 O& V5 U• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
  }4 g) j% z4 p7 W• Experience with personal care
& m0 K* U1 B3 d8 Y( x# t• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
