The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
# o% J7 n) s! q$ X& A& Q# s• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
3 o  Z% q/ G8 N. Y( p( @: z: ]• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
( [& u  B3 c  N3 b8 v8 Q1 g• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

9 t* K- l7 h/ e6 ~1 A4 x2 T" U# K; x• Completion of a high school diploma
" m, a2 _3 A" O) U; A8 a: P• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
) @9 w4 o  Q, s  `• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
6 u! o2 p1 ^. s% C! C/ q# p0 e! U• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
* k6 c' G* \, l1 R) X• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
