Scope and Purpose of Job
8 o$ Y( d3 a( s# PEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
4 H/ E5 p% w2 s/ y• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
/ T3 v/ j8 ^" `- x" ~2 C! }* O3 n! w• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems3 J, t2 O; c# m2 J4 L$ t B7 P
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release) j$ F" { o* b! k9 C9 F
• Assist where needed in application questions.
9 v% P+ C' M9 Q• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
$ j3 J0 c- j3 Y, A" H2 ^2 @. lo New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
: {# p* F8 @: j- D! jo Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
/ ] o6 w3 Z: g1 F4 |• Track and report all warranty failures

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.4 C( s# j2 P' p4 }7 q' J. X
• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in information gather for any new product idea.

o Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Assist in Sales support & training.

o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

6 v7 P& H& y; ~8 REducational / Professional Background Technical School Graduate
+ D/ \+ C) n" c: r3 z3 A0 T+ eProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)
$ ^: E. u3 p0 Z1 R8 R5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
; t2 N8 k0 y" d5 a4 W/ }7 O gList of Skills/Qualifications / v9 F6 Q: W% O, o
• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.

; @6 k1 s x6 K& \" H1 v• Proficient in software use and writing.# q/ Y; R0 V/ q T P7 v# l
• Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
