Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.' Q9 e9 y& X7 v) T
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
' N) r" o' C$ `: l+ O•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.4 P; b8 z. r* V9 Z! c5 o
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.- R. W  U8 _* a* Q
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
7 Y4 i; V9 P/ R3 n$ X, N4 `8 `•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.( W2 h! ?+ N6 |) a- S( B
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
7 M$ D9 w+ p) Q$ F8 R•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.7 b: p8 K. N; c5 O
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
& ?' ~+ L7 D5 s) d& M$ I  ^•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.& k* E. ~7 |1 A* P1 A
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).6 i' R' [! \& r9 F
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.3 B: \7 _, z: [& F
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.* k9 |, C3 K, V$ I, i
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
: R# R- }% S: N. i: h/ z' J•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
' b- ]9 I* p9 H7 O+ P! k•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
4 W7 H  z" x/ F9 ?  r! E/ ?0 Z•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
3 T2 l2 m- g. r: b# m! }; [1 ~1 ^Requirements:
6 Z- Y# R) p0 G6 N•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. - P7 E0 w5 O  v6 g
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
" n* ]0 E1 h$ Z- Q" m1 c# i: N•        Strong Union Relations experience required. & @; y& i, X  Q/ l
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
1 l/ D' V5 l5 A•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
