* r2 O1 o6 ^( tTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
' n& c: f- k% d5 g•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
0 a- N0 A; @0 q: j+ v+ I* B2 }8 l•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
; V8 K4 s5 t6 v( q# H( x•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
5 P1 e3 L- m& a  {) t+ r9 @•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
* ?: P7 I$ S; w% f+ g# d5 b+ w•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
9 o# t( ?  o5 T3 [; S•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
1 }  z% H* |# Z6 [: u( \0 u/ |, S" |•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
7 S: E0 [" ^& b6 `•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
# \' V: v# s6 \) x& R% L; f- i$ Q5 T•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

  E0 P1 K* F+ {5 F$ p: [Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
5 J3 g( K; a0 L& n  f4 g1 T& @•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
) K5 V* i4 y% W' i# g6 ~9 \: K•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
