Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
, R- |( |; C- tReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:1 i" T- W- A" o$ u0 Q, ?" n
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
( @! D+ e! _; y0 c2 G. @$ ]7 e•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.. O& V9 t$ ~* T8 W
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
/ e3 S( k* l* Y8 D) }! u' ^" O) r•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.: X9 R5 Y9 @9 c% V+ _
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 0 N$ C9 q4 V5 Z" ?3 V$ d
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
8 l1 m6 F$ m. Y$ ^0 @•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.$ P2 z7 ]. q$ L% k/ w' G8 I9 ?, W
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
& i3 T. v- u& m- S2 ^: }' P) t•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).- B! R2 j; r# D; h, b
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.- w' B( M0 H6 L$ m$ U8 O, x
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.3 o2 i* \3 L2 Z  y- z! }2 l
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.; ~9 P: D$ \& s. W8 I6 c
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.( u* @% [# s0 F6 i
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications$ Z& g' K4 W: w: ~1 E* [
Requirements:: V4 K0 T8 a6 a" I8 t2 {
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. % m+ n9 c. q& C( b# Y  S# O
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
/ b; G5 H0 x- q•        Strong Union Relations experience required. ! ]/ d# ^0 z1 @* Q) X
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
