Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
2 N) t. G/ c+ t5 F' Y6 T1 m! {" j• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
$ j+ H& Z' s- m- U+ u) F• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 9 K% h' F# K4 X" F% T0 k9 Z
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
7 ^1 v4 N, a# P' {6 [• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.; v$ _& h" x9 p: a
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.: Z7 W) {8 D' z1 a! Z
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
) [: F1 d' i+ P& u: l) {( w• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.2 j! s# Y2 y' D, s
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.; q% E8 X7 H3 A1 Q
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
: Q( [2 {( ~/ j$ C; f" d• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Requirements:1 q# Q0 q. ^* h' L1 k W( C0 o$ z
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 4 k9 v1 Q/ U* X
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 4 |4 W; M5 ` w& Z, q' C
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
6 T6 @7 F6 Q$ J• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
