Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.7 x. q( l; d, n( j7 ]% p* D
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
7 c- D2 X3 T6 k* Z• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.

• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.6 Q; k. P# A r9 D# j! n' w) f4 K
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
' K: G! [! L! |$ O: g$ @• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).4 O" K. W$ J' |: o3 ]" d4 m' |7 G
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.# }% Q- R4 Y: x3 d
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.0 U$ k" |' A" r& M2 T; z* \
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:
3 \$ _- D% P% S0 B! v( L/ d• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. % A) \" q( H R5 {: v, E4 J
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
, d% n2 C& p& c( u6 S/ E• Strong Union Relations experience required. % V0 y3 {$ Q7 [, O. a6 I
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
