Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
6 Q0 g$ i+ N7 b- ~7 O& Q; a+ X( @Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
/ z# Q1 o, J7 U) h•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
- s, z( h* f' T$ e•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.5 |; X8 \' t! T( j( \/ P$ z
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.  ~" U+ Y# f* d3 R
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.; N# O6 i% @4 [3 ?$ Q' m
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
' P: V6 H3 O; P# b5 n, B& E•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
& p8 o' J0 a; q. `' u•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.8 W9 O" ]1 T, U# g: Y
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.1 Y/ l/ v3 p$ \
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
6 Y! C0 v6 g# o+ D& Y•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
( ^: Q/ y- I. G$ R•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.5 G& u" e! Q4 w* P) b. i* }
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
0 p) P* b% N# s0 W: w•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
! n4 E  a  e( `  S& E' g2 F•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
' J$ B2 H, \: |) f* I•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
" ?8 z" \9 ?* W% ^3 y: N: J/ I•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
! s/ z8 v9 V7 w. ~$ E% `" V+ V1 q•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
, k# k( d- `6 f/ n0 D•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
/ S, u- z. D  h$ J•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
+ F# |* L; T7 M) u+ z•        CHRP Designation is an asset.! ~* X7 v! Q' y, }: H& t, I/ b3 R8 p
