Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
, R- |( |; C- tReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
( @! D+ e! _; y0 c2 G. @$ ]7 e•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
/ e3 S( k* l* Y8 D) }! u' ^" O) r•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
8 l1 m6 F$ m. Y$ ^0 @•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
& i3 T. v- u& m- S2 ^: }' P) t•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
/ b; G5 H0 x- q•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
  n6 }' R1 P1 n4 I8 N" {/ E•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
