3 I \3 U) b( {: E! O) a( FEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:+ V( S ^6 W: e* W% f) x' A
1) Any bodily injury or death;: r! ^. N5 x) H, A1 T
2) A Hit-and-Run;, ^2 y: p" m G5 Y7 F
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;+ L ?7 K, [' J
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
( O; }) V- v7 b# X1 O0 K/ E8 ]5) An out-of-province vehicle.

! [" h, H. C2 B m) LNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
