Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
$ W( X# l3 E; bShifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
! ~. E6 x9 k* C. r•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
( ?4 N# H1 }  d•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
6 v) M; N) e# ^& _7 Q2 w! f4 q•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

•        Completion of secondary education is required
0 w  F7 w1 X' e) U•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
& }* [4 b* ?) |  O- O, M) g! Y0 U•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
