Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

Main duties:
  Y* _+ [- Y3 R. R, a: r" ^•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
5 E: \8 K4 E& ^•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
' e% S3 T7 c9 l& f6 |) C4 z. M•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
9 C" Z" T$ o9 N: W, p" R•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
9 h2 N2 d3 t' T* n  }" P  \1 e•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
! E! R2 l) ?( I+ ]•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
! `+ n' i0 w( L& G+ v6 F•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
5 q; X2 z' {/ a+ v' m. c; h" `•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
