Key Responsibilities
% B9 W1 i2 M W- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
' O1 z: }6 Z2 U: u. T) b$ N% I9 t- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
6 a+ M) K$ \6 I P" n- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services8 E' H; ~1 x1 b! N+ {, \. K1 w
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
! a( j$ n: b! m6 m- coordinate good will activities' E, m" Q0 F5 g y, D3 R
- coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members* |$ {2 |" b6 w" t
- submit information for community news
3 W2 g* V* Z; D4 S- prepare and send AGM information to members7 B: C% h& N+ m: V1 P f4 n. f
- assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist in writing proposal for ISP
) B9 \ Q4 ]/ i1 ?6 y- write quarterly and final reports for ISP; ]! |; c9 I1 u& p7 G7 q$ I
- explore new ideas for ISP , b$ X6 w: C6 _, }! _& U5 [
- hold regular meetings with ISP team( g- C8 n2 R0 y; b# j5 Q7 R9 t
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications( Q% ? g0 D- Z# v2 |) o
- degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
4 R7 Y/ l/ U) N1 Y- good oral and written Chinese and English skills4 q/ |9 c5 y# ?- e' e( R6 V) ] x
- experience in community work and immigrant services) b- N6 c8 ?5 P: t
- ability to coordinate workshops and seminars |, M6 H7 y, L
- leadership skills' t/ D/ I* \ ?# D1 c, `4 _: V
- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills! V: ?% z5 B4 R+ w& P8 P* H7 p/ o2 O
