•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities

3 O( B' u5 W! ~4 n•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

3 c1 M& g2 d# B- ?$ z3 [! {•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions
+ n: p' @& Y4 C; u( R
•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

- R4 L$ x7 J5 O* j$ v) D•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment
•        have at least 3 years of international work experience in their field

; c, G& O- m% E" D* d% ?•        have been in Canada for less than 3 years
•        are legally able to work in Canada
