, q* P- V/ D& r7 \# vPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. ; a5 U d* D( e

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person( {) s# F" C4 I9 B+ \# J/ U8 @! z
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST/ o$ j6 J5 L0 I; { _; v6 |, W
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately J" V# c1 h& E: e5 \/ K8 P
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter" c# U4 @8 j: }
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents" r* |$ ~. [. e* X
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

! x4 p8 @" g4 k, [5 x• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person) i4 {! d- H% o$ W* l! j7 b1 F
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
$ r5 m* ^+ M1 d$ s) V• Good English writing and oral communication skills
' c4 @& W& z4 I) j+ L' r& R• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients

• Knowledge of immigrant services

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
