Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
) L2 t+ l' o+ t& h; p
·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
% j! U2 X4 |4 n/ M. w3 F, f+ W
( g5 L1 ?% g3 C8 E  x7 t3 T·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
$ m& h% F5 z, t# }
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

" \! l, ?+ p+ P5 K# J·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

4 i: d; D  ?* n: y·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
+ S! q9 S5 e# }+ H9 h$ s
# r' ]. J7 W% R3 M$ c, u·         Attention to detail is a must

- H' t# ?# B3 U+ u. @·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
5 ~5 {' W, Q. J. f$ o& N; b- D5 ^# n
' }1 J$ G% m9 k, w·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

' j7 S; w3 [7 U$ B·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

; C) ?! Z( Q$ }·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Possess a Class 5 driver’s license

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
