Responsibilities

$ C  ]7 B& B- y1 }. |( e0 q·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

& c" c  [$ W% g2 f  Z+ o·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
  M2 H# K6 Z# \- o% x$ C: }2 y
·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

6 c7 h7 V) S8 K# N+ ?4 p. x9 p( C·         Reviewing vendor drawings

* f- C% k; k. W·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

  Q7 P/ I- Q) p0 d8 [·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

0 V9 Q; Y8 Z0 p, j9 [# w2 h3 x·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

Position Requirements

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
7 F) l  w" m2 f  b% U8 V& M* [  p
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
8 {$ o+ B: h* A
·         Attention to detail is a must
8 f& u3 }" W" ~1 q' x& X
# n$ T8 h! |; H3 \1 A0 R: q·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

4 o; Y8 S8 r" ]·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset
( l& l2 T5 u: O
·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

+ C/ a$ i) X  X4 E# Y( g: k·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

( Z+ K6 Z* t3 b- w: T·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
