Location: 15620 – 131 AVE, NW. Edmonton. 780-482-2010
Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
Your Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
Group benefits package starts after 3 months.


Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.  

Responsibilities include:
& U+ k+ }# b7 `$ `
& E5 m! ^# R2 u3 i. V7 sDiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
Requisition parts and materials, as required.
Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
. W. ~9 \$ U9 F0 A! Y! \$ BProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
% C: r7 F; X6 M. f1 D* F1 v1 O, AAccess technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.

Applicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
* |' u2 M8 A$ V9 A# I+ [Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications
2 O4 I8 |8 e: q& f, O0 SOnly education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
A Driving Abstract with no more than six demerit points (current within three months) must be provided if contacted for an interview.
