Job Description:
; I; o" r3 u. c4 a0 K% S1 zTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.; N# T4 @4 ^0 B

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
, u0 Z3 ^" \( q• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;1 O3 i% a  y1 ^. o! _1 w+ P
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
4 |/ `3 h/ f5 g/ M; z8 a- m* n• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
5 Q+ s4 @' K/ r# O: a• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.1 c& d5 O; j! X9 m
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;: g) R' I& @. S( e+ ~
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
) y) ~2 q/ U2 K" e• Participate in trade shows;
4 f" i4 `( P4 V" ^& I: ?# a• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
! y* s( H! a' l3 c( E* w! H- j• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
4 X6 X) {) A( b9 U+ q, V• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;; b) y2 }' q( R7 A# i0 e- \) L
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;7 D" Q0 }6 ~7 O" v5 o

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
3 S" Q2 ?9 G7 Y) w7 d• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;/ O; E5 z- |0 @- w% g
• Ability to lead and develop;/ H% J- x! g7 y0 t) V4 L  m
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
- M! m$ I# E' F: Y" }• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;

• Ability to work within deadlines;

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
