Job Description:
" z" a. u# `. q. |+ O. ZTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.6 S/ p3 B; ]+ m/ Y; s

* L8 @& s3 v( \# m8 x0 O! O2 D• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
% g, e5 n& F4 [2 ~• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
. n- y8 H! B" B9 ^• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;- Z  ~$ v# @# V5 Y7 d7 N+ x
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
# {6 L3 E) l) k( r2 U• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
% O9 Y1 r7 R& i& Z% b) O, A2 A• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
2 G7 `( m+ t% N9 s/ ]( @& S• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
# B/ c% Y  D- @5 p- i9 R7 V• Participate in trade shows;3 R! ~, w- V, e
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
) L6 s- P1 m6 Y0 z3 q* A& Y• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;5 ~9 ?$ s. F5 n& T7 K
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
$ Y$ R+ ^- H( k0 {2 f: ]% E+ y•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
  F5 I' D* I4 A4 O0 ?6 U• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
) D& j* J! N0 A/ S+ L• Ability to lead and develop;+ C2 [* Z1 d) |
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;: B* ?+ L) [- o. z' P
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;5 r3 a7 X1 o# v
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

• High level of creativity and innovation;
