To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

) E* v$ ^; H# F: _5 a" b• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
4 Y$ A- g! B& j- ^2 \& R• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
9 L* g) O! q2 i0 h# d• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
9 [4 K  l# U, j0 u  p& C$ V•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
& c' p, ]9 O7 ~5 a* ?• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
8 c( p' B/ j- k% M; k) d5 |• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
# i+ p5 I5 D& z, I• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
( [# f3 O$ @. {' p! p• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
- b! r2 w$ w" i! m. Q• High level of creativity and innovation;
& B& b( X6 a: g• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
