To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.# ]/ i" y* ~+ C, p$ D. M) j0 E. w
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
; ~3 H+ H) u8 V* D• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
  O& i  ], V, ]• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
4 V7 i+ d5 G  k  W7 Y2 H+ b• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
  @. m8 ~; P! e- D2 W' W# x• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;, f- h; H3 F0 |6 D7 h
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;5 ?$ J( I* y0 _4 \
• Participate in trade shows;+ w# Z8 `# O/ H) ?0 s) f
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;" y( D% ?! L( X0 i- o* s3 L
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
- T0 n9 \1 Z" P4 t• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;% g! X# V3 t, h
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;! ^& j; l+ j% v# R) b) v7 C

Requirements:
2 W; s1 i: s7 s  i- f' [4 ]$ a1 R•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property% M( A: r) F/ r: e' N
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;! G+ G& v- C, T2 c( ^
• Ability to lead and develop;: g9 |  f# r2 p3 S# ~+ e) [
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;, c" }# l& F9 @3 J( `
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
1 {& N& S1 A: b$ A• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
3 Y, }7 q" C6 P• Ability to work within deadlines;
4 K7 i0 X, ?8 w2 w5 y# b/ R• High level of creativity and innovation;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
