Job Responsibilities5 \) y2 ?4 t) p. Z! Q0 K! h
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues." _. i1 l% x. I. f, n0 @
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
  x. ~8 z$ t9 _6 |4 W  W5 d•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
5 J, P! T( j7 r•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
: m1 i0 x3 A* Y5 {•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.: _7 R' C3 o3 z9 t2 y0 Z/ t
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
6 b8 Z. `- w' p3 ?1 C+ }: C. b•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
" b8 K( }; n- r$ N, d: l3 ^•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.' [) `+ |: \/ S) g( d
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
% X/ z0 T& A' C0 T7 N•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
) x. o3 f4 w: Y2 D•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
& @  Z  m2 T# s" X0 y: o( B& \+ Z' a8 Q•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 5 d8 b: E' ~  H, J( c
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
/ k) T3 J4 ?# o/ V4 J•        Attend Cluster meetings.
9 g" @- `" V2 v* A•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.0 o. e  W+ p8 Y
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
: D6 E1 U6 ?" p' ]3 j•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
2 X8 ^) x9 n9 E: d: q. w0 b- M  u•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
9 E" V! C' J1 D  G•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property6 h1 ^& l/ w4 f+ D. i5 \
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
4 p0 s2 j% F% P& D. Z- G' D4 Q6 _• Ability to lead and develop;
; [+ D4 z$ a1 U% g9 e$ _• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
. ?  B/ q$ Z5 j; A• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
. g" {: g- P# @* F5 |% w* @• Ability to work within deadlines;
