Job Responsibilities
8 h3 U7 {. [7 L2 E* }6 v& }•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.) m8 g& I8 e( J& v0 L5 g
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. # a* c% J* C/ L/ Q
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
4 E4 [* ^* D: D, t1 u  [$ Z•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
& S" n/ `7 I. }, b* [•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
+ f& c# e; t6 {•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.8 l* E% B1 r. n9 n
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
7 S$ ~8 ^2 K( w! H4 ^' t•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.# Y- p& f! G" X  y0 z. X1 S
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 3 y7 ^( W& I5 m0 a5 N1 I
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.   `7 T6 W8 F" q2 U0 Y
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. " S4 ^: u$ q6 h* w
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
) J! I& g0 B- j7 k4 O" n& J; f/ O, k•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.3 A7 n0 f$ r; c4 ]
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
3 m- q: b. B  ?2 m2 P; w•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
) g* B9 j* k2 U4 ~: y2 C: \  u; @•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department : O/ u5 J% H3 r: R
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies! O  k0 h5 ~" @8 i: O4 v! ?
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
; z  E9 G1 i9 k; q% v% W•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
. E+ b. i* F" F. _•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property) s( Y. @. z" Q" S! c4 C# C( B
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;: b+ A  d6 I8 z. J6 \! O3 P) z) x2 H
• Ability to lead and develop;
+ |2 \* f" |' ^• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;+ ~4 z+ Y- \0 t# T
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
" H1 H( n. r: ^! a( A& M• Ability to work within deadlines;1 E: X3 C8 h5 n$ W" Y* v" x  R
• High level of creativity and innovation;
1 y/ B% n! n/ j% k; _- ~• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
