•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.& x! i3 U* L4 J8 n# D2 c, ~6 [
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. - e+ _5 {) a* w( n& a, m8 C* E' S
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.( X( L2 e! R0 Q- K, D: u( u% Z
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
2 C8 R3 z9 t: m! n$ S8 v8 Z9 S•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
* U1 @/ r$ t' R. p, V•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.' |: q7 L" K" C$ L) w3 O
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.  \0 F7 V& k. r  `& O; d
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.6 x* j( y0 P9 j, ]
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 9 X6 q, M; ?5 O4 J% a; y* Z3 E6 q" c
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 5 M. \8 V" M7 l1 ]* Y8 C
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. , z; ^0 F( m: z# h2 g9 _) i
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 1 G. {% r" `! f. t
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.6 }6 \7 N' F/ Z+ B/ h
•        Attend Cluster meetings. 7 x  L/ v' u6 S/ @. q( ~, }2 ]$ t, {
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.: r7 t% n" q, ~% l9 ~
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department $ \% ]$ J6 Z- G- e: k  D
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
2 i. u' X% @* C2 P$ T0 h•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
: y, b* `& m: r- c: ~- L•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 0 d( S; [% [2 D; u

Requirements:: D! H1 x( k$ ~
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
  g8 m: j' g, X9 d* Q/ f5 a: U• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
9 I$ s! l- n7 B9 A9 N• Ability to lead and develop;
% Y) ?# H4 l% X6 X+ |( v• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;. U. N& p8 b4 k' C- ^* i* Y3 j
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
7 P4 A, C& K+ x• Ability to work within deadlines;
% X1 w  D4 ~0 E/ ^• High level of creativity and innovation;: X$ C9 }1 a" h" @- e" A
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;! |2 A4 c" H9 Q0 ?9 o7 M
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
