Job Responsibilities0 g1 w' U0 z0 v9 F; m0 c4 ~
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
$ d: h" s/ X' L( [% a+ ~& C•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 3 ?* L9 M6 G7 u; @7 M% C# V
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.5 A$ y! f; c& z6 y# a3 B  |6 O
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.   T) |) @1 z. t- X3 p' w0 `, T$ t& ^
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.5 S9 S" F4 M2 `' n8 ~
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.4 V- Z: l0 d5 g/ w4 m
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.: Z1 D" g/ |1 \3 t( Z+ H
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.  t/ b. ~) L6 w
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. ) h+ H6 a/ S2 i! V* l. R
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. . l9 r9 F5 `' Z  c& g6 A$ D* N
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
$ p) h8 ^, ^7 U( ~+ K/ i! l5 V•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 9 D+ N% B/ w* M, U$ F; {8 d0 S
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.& Q# d9 I6 s5 J
•        Attend Cluster meetings.   W( [9 B3 S9 f8 ~% @$ d3 @- Q
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.# M! u: L" K. u
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department 2 R1 q" s8 e8 @; X* R$ W( X
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
+ z2 g! G. o* J( L+ N* \, I•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center+ ^: J0 O9 ?- `3 L- |, ?+ H% Q# A
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
  v& f& }6 O9 d0 i& ^: g• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;! P7 ^# Y- L9 L$ E  |
• Ability to lead and develop;6 k) U. k, [  |  ?5 X* ^
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;' r4 |* _& E" P* L8 |
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
& i! r; e* o# T( W( H• Ability to work within deadlines;
