The College's Objects as follows under The Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009:

2. To regulate the practice of trades.

12. To address compliance issues in respect of matters within the jurisdiction of the College./ h1 q- C5 s J' @3 W( y

16. To perform such additional functions as may be prescribed by a Lieutenant Governor’s regulation. 2009, c. 22, s. 11 (1).
