•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
; N; L) g' b7 y/ p$ G•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies; w+ F; c- y0 w2 u( U
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting* S4 y3 q R- |) B: E
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.) D# f' w! |' w+ r
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential4 y- }9 C- E6 g+ _# n% e8 w

Qualifications:
; I2 A" K% N0 S( [•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;3 [/ i; t6 x. _* b) {* N
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
4 n* }; g0 w) o& C•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
$ Z! x% y3 J# w5 H: \4 l1 F9 V6 `•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
% V, R% B, P" s8 J; e3 m•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.4 K9 o( S# w/ ?2 O$ B, |' A
