Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position

6 S5 ?' A) A' S) kThis position reports directly to the District Program Manager

1 D$ m5 ?8 `/ {4 U, i- w7 dKey Responsibilities are as follows:
4 B: \4 o) u$ b! E+ Y9 R•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 7 b; j1 M/ @; n& M! W# k
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
+ I+ k( t& k. m* `. u•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting  k! }; N1 w' B
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
" z' o6 r5 x) j) H. l•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential  T5 T+ f" F5 B' d2 \4 \

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;& I$ k' D+ _1 o: ~0 q
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;1 G( X% o) ]2 D2 Z  j
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
* b) ]0 m# \! k1 i; K: z3 h7 p•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
) y$ Q! B( b! g; f•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.) A$ n, e! W3 t' S
