Position Summary:
, E" q& P5 [1 O8 wTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
8 t$ Z. \# v/ d    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
0 b( E$ a, F& [6 Y' U% u    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
. g  f2 C+ ]. F1 o, ?7 c    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
8 |9 G1 P6 B1 L    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

6 L" Q3 h2 L3 Z: z2 c( L% Y    High School and or Post Secondary Education
8 Y- x0 \  C# e8 m# D) y8 F- g/ X0 _! V    Previous customer service experience
* x3 F( I3 {( j  Y4 f    Previous sales experience an asset
6 [9 m" d5 W3 p. M- A    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
& h; g9 |$ c! g3 \. S    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
