! {8 f( B' q2 v$ D) F6 pattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
8 w H( A N4 _/ h% binformation that will make your transition to the University community ' h9 Z5 ?; a8 C

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
}8 R0 V& A8 A/ y; ~* m& Hof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

of directional information.

! ?9 a0 Z9 l8 M I) TBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 7 c" @1 f7 n3 g3 I2 f5 q& e
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend : N2 ?8 L2 }' S! r- Y' x' @
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday . i' ~/ z# {* S/ v, H
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
- @! X' I$ T- G i. m" LHawrelak Park.0 i5 q1 A8 v% M( L' C9 C3 ?, w
( t% ^$ s( B& _) I5 YYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
3 ~) P" n+ v# Y( i0 o! O+ h9 ?September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
% ? b4 Y3 Y% s* o' P6 {and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

6 G' f, P' W3 HBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you # K( _% |1 u, H/ k3 J
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
* ^* y5 L3 R: B5 O1 b, ]3 \your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
2 Q$ s: |( m8 m2 p, [. F2 v p* \ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process , D+ M/ h8 G3 B* x
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
' ]2 q4 _8 m" P; N" xof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus . d- R/ x6 s9 g b5 ~- y
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
& {% N6 `% _. P2 @Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
$ n. r3 B% D R: |3 Nbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
. o" ]! v' c7 Mtwo days of Orientation).
