(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community

www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ) ~' z2 _ Z9 G8 d+ Y
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth ' v/ t4 L4 m5 m( }. `

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 7 F) [0 \# M+ }
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
! p9 }; u# o- @, Z9 Ba variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
% q6 H) E! O+ b& o- u. Vevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 0 m9 c/ s! ?& b

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
; M& C; \+ [: v% u4 o/ n# F( wSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, , o6 w& K4 D8 z1 Q
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

9 H P! W' W1 ^# v* A; P( bBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
* N( f) }$ Z7 v9 dto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
4 P$ t) k4 ~! o8 Y* ?9 y4 ]# ^your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
1 p& P5 T5 l% y, h- U1 TONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
" ]( e5 x; L& C# }your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
9 N" g, _5 Q/ Q- s8 n1 C) i bof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
$ W* w' S% \5 \# T0 K3 iComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
8 C: d8 E, h5 `/ P3 `1 PInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and % h3 w% @ y6 u/ q' b/ p; G8 H
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 8 A D% z- r3 u4 ] F
two days of Orientation).
