(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
! ^ g+ y1 P& z- z8 N+ t2 Eattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

- s, y% E- g( m. f, S; D$ ]www.campusmap.ualberta.ca to find your check in location. However, don't worry about having
$ m6 \. `! O4 o# nto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds % s6 G$ \7 B- V/ h+ v; c
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically + U% `' K* V" k8 d2 `# C3 ~
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
5 K0 }5 }7 |/ q* _6 tof directional information.8 v5 x4 `% j: p( ^$ V* C+ S
: @7 z2 y2 Z& K2 _! p% \; P8 r0 C, lBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
( f# X* N9 G8 C4 R0 R! w5 M: P6 g/ wactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
- E, V$ y1 }4 ia variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
- ~* c1 u. [; m0 m0 V( Q- ^evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 0 B! @% G3 y' g; V5 j

7 s8 @1 r1 k0 e) E6 o2 oYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ) b+ p: j" o; M7 p6 R9 t
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 2 o" d% } o0 i9 D# {7 j
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

+ m9 C8 R; s( d% }9 pBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you , V/ X1 a1 v4 W- Z& R0 y! [+ n
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
) o" X; a4 w' Z- t6 D+ V6 s5 Gyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
& c- v- k1 q; ]" E( NONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 9 D3 F' G' t X9 e- e
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
1 m, l; h; T& iof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
9 Z; e. }6 N& hComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 1 D! i' M2 T, k2 H; J( Q
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and i8 ^7 P! ]* k. x! D( B! b
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the . C9 D0 a/ w* H# o! n& {
