like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups 3 z( l" y6 m2 L0 @
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community 7 B7 c( ]1 B K0 H6 |8 D; k

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
) I$ T# s4 u6 [# m# Hof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 0 a+ S- \0 c" i. X6 d
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth : [- p: H3 m/ u: z6 @

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening , R# i) S2 Y$ U" N. \9 U9 i) h" P
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend ) @* H! X0 o3 b: j, t
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday - t+ U* |; _* X1 S9 [0 G. }1 z
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
) L; l/ ?$ U' q3 }2 {, [: DHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
: ^ I& i( X, R+ |! T/ @2 x: vSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
0 ?/ b/ }3 \, N) d' land then continue to meet with for the entire year.( H7 @ \$ B5 D4 Z8 m7 u

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you # ]! h' ]2 p8 s0 d/ U% s
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 4 f/ x0 ]8 i4 K" F% l
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 8 ^& @$ { X" G' l0 F+ g8 ~
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
' N4 C8 \. q- T6 L9 L" [your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ; _2 D3 e8 H3 k6 W. o% P7 N
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
4 ]6 j5 q7 [5 \/ {: I% WComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
5 B( K V7 ?" y l# BInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
, h& S' _4 V; y( q: kbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
