买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:8 U( f/ d6 S0 X9 [* y
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
4 j! A' X7 C/ j$ u•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
) W8 q  ^* }3 R9 V/ h4 bSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

只要是第一次买房,都可以。

    apartments in duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, or apartment buildings.

. L5 V3 J" }) J7 oA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. 8 \0 ^: C- Z: W* |

" g; _6 W: i( Y, l3 oThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.
