-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
/ m1 z- M! p( X) U-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

5 \" @; X* [) a6 x: p( ?MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

•        Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
5 @# |( z0 ?* I# I•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
( o; I& ?8 J$ R•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
0 Y6 f& V3 y9 g: @; r# S( `•        Information about community agencies and services.
•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
. i1 }# F/ E8 m! G•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

1.  May 6, 2006 – June 24, 2006                Saturdays from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.
2.  July 17, 2006 – July 28, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
3 f( h) \- m! c3.  August  21, 2006 – Sept. 1, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
4.  Oct. 21, 2006 – Dec. 9, 2006                Saturdays from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.
5.  Jan. 27, 2007 – Mar. 17, 2007                Saturdays from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.

哈哈....那地方啊,我刚登陆那会,还到过那当Volunteer呢!那是半年前的事了, 总的说那里的人还是很NICE的!
