A heating and ventilation permit is required under the Safety Codes Permit Bylaw when installing or altering heating and ventilation equipment such as:

HVAC systems,

! h0 v: `0 h4 q5 ~; t% I4 lboilers,
$ _; C  y! V% ~" t1 `. o& fhydronic (hot water) systems,
kitchen exhaust,
% U3 ~9 u  T9 R6 n4 g% q6 jheat recovery ventilators,
ventilation systems.

但是这里办事都是按规矩做， 没人诚心要为难你。
