Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week
. E% V, B; |; p, B& {Key Responsibilities
; s; B* W# b4 B. `-community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
-workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
-fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
-develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
-coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members
-assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.
-participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
+ z. ^$ b( j+ f/ P7 k-demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
-participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
: z; @& ~6 w' s* f1 o-write quarterly and final reports for ISP
3 p8 K7 }5 e" x5 G! g-assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time
-update membership database
-work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
-report to ISP team leader

-degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
-good oral and written Chinese and English skills
-experience in community work and immigrant services
