In whatever galaxy,                                               September 29th 2006,
I believe there must be creatures like ourselves  
Dreamers
Savages
Poets
' {8 h* P+ \  }' @3 F/ jBuilders of canoes,
5 p- Q+ _9 m( c; {7 x  xBlack smiths
% `# [1 z6 H4 W& Q# f1 VMurderers,
2 O* C) R3 w0 F) T& ^Risk takers,
My mind is full of curiosity and wonder
As I think of what could be.
The world is so big to me
I wonder what it means to be
I looked up at the star and smiled
* ^4 {0 c+ b7 j, a5 V5 D* }They flashed as they have heard all I have read.

Here am I,
A poor old Guy;
  R6 Q- i  W$ F8 b( J, B+ cLegs in a bonfire,
+ d, b- z9 a3 bHead in the sky
6 b8 d: I- `; R7 i* cLonely, with the feel of betray
- c) F! ~% q4 B+ jHeart empty and hollow
  Q; w" n4 N- {+ U9 P4 G- @8 z! v  UAlone I stand
I am useless to all
1 |/ U# l  U  q1 K7 ^; S: L' uBut I wish I were a dove
Giving myself to the world, to the fire
; B2 y  Y2 F; nI feel like burning myself in to dust and fly with the wind
0 f7 |( R, k$ ]& K6 ?8 II sent prayers to my god
3 @  ^$ l. x2 \. L7 \Though he does not answer
He bless me with the gift of hope
