# h3 v: w8 b7 e8 W/ BWe are very pleased with our ginseng quality this year. International ginseng prices doubled last year and they have increased by another $8/pound this year. Ginseng prices are high because there are 75% fewer ginseng growers than there were 5 years ago. Ginseng yield will be down by 40% and demand will remain high. Up until three years ago — ginseng prices were below the cost of production for 10 years in a row — this is the reason for the great decline in ginseng growers in North America. Prices are expected to remain high for another 5 years. % O& s3 F0 ~4 w, s2 q( _
