EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.

; _% I4 C% {4 J) K# n+ rPolice and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.( a J4 z. o Q& Z

Police have not confirmed the person’s age or gender.5 A" B6 U, h m% [- H, X* a3 {& r

The fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
