POSITION: Junior Accountant

+ d- r6 b8 Z3 e' nDUTIES:$ Q! Q+ G' ^5 I& H, c
" g- \2 Q* u+ z' N7 K0 R5 g. Z/ \• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
s4 T& c+ m) Y9 N2 R* W1 Q• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
4 Z) S; h3 f6 w6 K$ B* H• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
3 t8 j- ~+ |# m1 ?! b• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
2 R* p. ^6 t5 b8 ^3 ]; K8 [3 A+ f/ X- I& h! i
• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
" t f* |2 x% \0 m• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
* ~# d0 y8 u3 T5 z# u• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
$ i$ J0 E; p- `• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers% `3 m2 b/ L% M: L, x
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
