1 x& {3 ]+ N, \Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
/ ?( D2 n7 ^* s: x) s7 ~5 q/ I/ {& DEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
7 j  x, t9 R: ^% OSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
2 A7 }/ w+ B2 S1 T% u% tRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
: L& e+ u* f8 dPerform administrative duties
2 U3 n2 \$ N2 I9 ?Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
' r. n' t2 E0 mWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
