关于国内驾照、5号牌、7号牌目前有各种说法，本文试图对各种说法进行全面的总结，给出权威的答案。

6 C. N% } Q5 E, n七号牌相当于国内的学习驾照，在没有七号牌之前是不能开车的，有了七号牌就可以在一个持有高级5号牌的司机的陪同下开车了。值得注意的是，七号牌不能单独开车。8 {* J6 A) B7 C7 V1 g( I

考试通过以后，进行视力检查、照相。视力检查通过之后，签字并另外交费约$67，获得“Interim Operator's Licence”，14天内可以收到正式的Learner's Operate Licence，相当于国内的身份证。

据说中文驾驶手册在永富商场(97Street & 105Ave)一楼书店有卖，１０元左右。另外一个地点是世界书局，10655-97 Street，这两个地方离得很近。七号牌考试可以找翻译。“轻松上路”栏目对中文考试已有很多介绍。

如果没有国内驾照，在获得7号牌一年后可以考5号牌，即路试。如果国内驾照已经通过验证，持“Interim Operator's Licence”就可以考5号牌了。

3、关于五号牌的说明( |/ F) i8 T) Q; Q* e. s9 t
五号牌就是正式驾照了，有了五号牌就可以单独驾车。五号牌分为高级五号牌（Class 5）和初级五号牌（Class 5 GDL）两种，后者与前者的区别主要是驾车时酒精含量为零、不能教7号牌的人开车等。

可以自己打电话预约考官，也可以让驾校的教练帮助约考官。高级五号牌的考官目前只有8人，姓名和电话请看（http://www.edmontonchina.cn/viewthread.php?tid=34564）。初级五号牌的考官只能考初级五号牌，高级五号牌的考官既可以考初级五号牌也可以考高级五号牌。' Q: P/ G6 D3 b9 k

4、国内驾照# Y+ t% t, l0 R) i) D
如果有国内驾照，在获得7号牌后可以马上考5号牌。如果国内驾照不到2年，可以考GDL 5号牌；如果国内驾照超过2年，可以考高级5号牌。如果registry的说法与此不同，说明具体办事的人不懂政策，可换一家registry。经常有人问，国内驾照不到2年，或者国内驾照不到1年，甚至国内驾照不到1个月，能否考5号牌。答案是不能考5号牌，但是可以考GDL 5号牌。一切与上述答案不一致的说法，都是错误的。国内驾照也不能到这里换驾照，只能考驾照。有无国内驾照的区别就是马上考，还是等一年再考。

国内驾照需要公证，并通过认证才可以考5号牌，国内驾照将被收回并不再还给你。这里就不过多解释了。

9 ~; ]" ~, k: F5、其他省份的驾照
: y1 B4 |) ]! |+ i5 n( C$ k加拿大其他省份的驾照可以在registry进行同级别更换，不必重新考试。正式驾照两年以下经验，更换GDL 5号牌；正式驾照两年以上经验，更换高级5号牌。如果在其他省份仅仅通过了笔试，可以更换阿省的7号牌。换驾照带着原来的驾照和钱就行了。换驾照的地点可以在下面任意一个地方：

! F+ l/ m1 \1 J) h4 F/ @, h经常有人在论坛发帖询问，自己是某省的什么牌，到这里应该换什么牌。其实如果你弄明白了本省的7号牌、GDL 5号牌和5号牌的区别，就不需要再问了，换牌就是一个对等的原则。9 O# l/ g. Q; g* M2 P
1 O; ?2 Y; V7 i) @% P6、关于驾校' C- U9 Z! o3 E! N) p8 I
埃德蒙顿有多家中文驾校和西人驾校。在驾校学习可以获得保险课证书，减免汽车保费。驾校的课程包括10个小时上路和15个小时的保险课。如果没有上过驾校而获得了5号牌，此时再学保险课将包括6个小时上路和15个小时的保险课，学费将相应降低。对于新手来说，如果开车不够熟练应“补钟”，即额外增加几小时的上路联系。如果你在路试过程中没有任何错误而考官不让你通过，你可以向有关部门进行投诉，考官将失去资格。考试的时候可以租考官的车，或者租教练的车，也可以请有5号牌的朋友到租车公司租车。还有一个办法是借用朋友的车，请朋友把车开到考场，留下车的注册信息和保险单给考官（考试期间你的朋友不能坐在车上）。
